Project Self Love Week 6

Six freaking weeks, a month and a half, over an eighth of a year. SO CRAZY. I'm still going strong and it's finally just feeling like a regular lifestyle rather than being a difficult life change. Things feel normal and I don't feel like this is hard anymore. It makes me happy to feel this way and to begin to love the way that I look and feel.

I'm down 25 pounds! Which is awesome, I can't believe that this weight is melting off and in a healthy way. I have a once a week cheat treat/meal and I'm still going strong. I took this progress photo and it was the first time I took a picture of my body that I was proud of how I looked.

This is my morning routine. Lemon, strawberry and mint water, protein shake and Pike Place Roast Starbucks coffee. This combo keeps me plenty full until lunch. I am trying to drink at least a gallon of water a day (5 large Voss water bottles) and I have started weight lifting as well. So even though things are easier now, I'm setting new goals and hitting new targets which is keeping me motivated.

Okay, I haven't posted about my kitties and I got these pictures of them this week and just had to share.

Also guys, look at my awesome husband. He has been working hard right along side me and has lost a whopping 28 pounds. I am so lucky to have someone not only support my journey but walk through it with me. I am such a lucky girl to have this hard-working man as my partner.

We signed up to run our first 5K together! I have run two 5K's in the past, but never with McClain. We're being sponsored by our work to run this 5K which is for a great cause. If you want to learn more about it, go here. We run this Saturday at 8am at Thanksgiving Point.

So after being in our apartment for almost two months, we get internet tomorrow!!! So I will start blogging more often and about more than just my journey. Thanks for following along!
